FBCT How to do a Frozen Buttercream Transfer

How to transfer images from a picture you have or a picture you get from the internet onto your cake. I use a crusting buttercream recipe.

@Lisa Levine....sure can! But depends on how big the transfer it is, if it's going around the curve of your cake you might want to freeze it on the side of your round pan in the freezer. Otherwise it might break when pushing it on. Smaller transfers will not matter.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I have used parts of this technique a couple of times, but I used royal icing, and it was a pain! I never knew (or thought about) using background color as a fill-in.  I can't wait to do this with buttercream!
