At 8:06am on March 12, 2011, Rima said…: Not at all, I'm flattered. That was a show cake I did last year. The painted trees were done with gel color, royal icing and a paintbrush. I kept the trunk and branches flat, but built up the leaves and half of the flowers. The butterflies needed more color and detail. Good luck with it :0) Let me know if you find you have questions.

I tend not to laugh too much incase it happens to me -you are the same as me defo work hard for the minimum wage. Sorry I meant to say yes I made the calla lilies myself - and I coloured it myself I used grape violet paste just adding a bit at a time until the required shade appeared. I just bought the cutter and actually bought the dvd it was only cheap and watched it as I made them. If you look carefully though I dont know if it was one or more of the lilies the tips had broken off. Make extra just to be one the safe side. Oh it was awful my nerves were shot as it was a girl in works wedding I was shaking like a leaf ha ha - but she was made up with the end result but like you sooooo undercharged her!

Yes I so enjoy seeing the expressions on peoples faces when they see the cake you have made them - how long have you been decorating cakes for? I have made so many mistakes but the saying is so true you learn by them! Also I think I am addicted to my local sugarcraft supplier talk about a kid in a sweetshop ha ha x.
