Hi there I am here around Baton Rouge, Louisiana I have tried so many recipes and only one got a little hard it was the Royal icing but not like it should. Have any ideas?

Thank you Tanya for the comments on my flowers. I only use Fondant for my flowers I can't seem to do them fast enough for gumpaste, plus I like the texture of fondant.

Thanks Tanya, I only started two months ago and hope to improve in time. I see you do a lot of lovely piping, I havn't tried that yet.

I am also self taught and everything I have learnt was by experimenting until I was happy (which was seldom!) I gave up on trying to create buttercream roses and writing on cakes as beautiful as you do them. I seldom bake now, as I prefer doing the sugar flowers.
