thank you KELLY ! you don't need cutters for rose petals , try free hand much better !read some of the post it will tell you how I make mine !

wow these look amazing. im in awe of everyone who do pretty realistic flowers like this. i have petal cutters for roses but they dont come out very good im still pretty new to it. 

i have daffodil flowers to do for a charity cake next week so iv been reading up / researching it. any tips for a newbie?

as you can see the leaf cutter was used on my leaf , but never do I use them on rose'd or many other flowers I make !

that's hoe I do them Bonnie ! if the fondant /tylose paste squeezes out the sides just trim it ! , , on the leaf I put the ball on a cel board so I have a nice place for the wire . than stick the wired ,,,paste in the veining tool and press , you can use the cutter to get your shape if need !ed , but I don't  always use cutters on my flowers , since flowers look perfect when they are not perfect ! if you get what I am saying !

Back to business!  So let me get this straight!  Your secret to all those natural looking petals is to just mash varying sized balls of gumpaste between two petal veiners, and use as is, without using any petal cutters?!? lol   If only it were that easy!

aw , that sucks  I lot 1 about 3 wks ago when a bad storm hit , with a lightning strike that would knock your socks off ! ,yes it was on a power surge strip!! but it fried , you could hear it !  lol , my brother was ,,,,,, :(  awesome at helping fix all the computer glitches , and he didn't have to be at my house ! he did it all online !

Any day now, I expect mine to go blank, and stay that way.  It is so slow, it takes an hour to do what should take 5 minutes...sigh, oh well, here's hoping it just keeps plugging along! lol
