Thanks Jeri. You are so helpful. I am a newbie to cake decorating. I am currrently taking a couple of classes by wilton. It is little overwhelming sometimes since everybody in the class is either in the business or at least been doing this for a while unlike me. So every tip& ideas here and there really counts. There are several different ones you can use but this is the one I used on these. It is very simple... you roll out the sugarpaste, cut it out with the cutter and put the piece on the mold and press the mold together. I make forms out of foil that I make with the mold so the flowers dry in the shape they should be. I keep my foil molds because I use this set a lot. They don't take too long to do. I made 200 of them in one evening for a wedding a few weeks ago.

are the flowers easy to make? are there any instructions anywhere i could find and try?

Fiona, I always purchase the already tinted bold colors... I just find it so much easier! I use Satin Ice always.

did you colour your black fondant or buy it black ?
