It is a silk flower - am sure you could make a sugar one but not sure how I would do that right now..:0)

Hi Leigh, I love this cake .. Wonderful work . Is the flower on th top gumpaste or silk . I have a cake i need to do with flowers very similar to this and i want to make them from GP. Could you share how you made this , if indeed it is GP. Thanks

it is a silk fower - the whole cake is a dummy....am sure it is possible to make one - will just need a LOT of patience!
