Sounds yummy June. We had homemade wholemeal bread rolls, soup and cheese, followed by CREAM CAKE! It was very lovely. I got hooked on watching the Thames Pageant - that poor woman she must have been frozen and she deserves a medal for her stamina during the afternoon. So typical of this country though that the weather has let us down and I felt so sorry for everyone concerned - it could have been so lovely if the sun had been shining. Glad I wasn't there lol
I taped the ride the of the Queen & flotila's going up the thames before I went to church. HAVE to have strawberry shortcake with my tea and watch it......Mmmmm....yum...yum
Nearly time to eat it. Just made some fresh wholemeal bread rolls to have first - tummy rumbling..........
Yum! That does look good!
We'll find out tomorrow!
yummm, this looks so good.
Amen to that!!
They are - and I'm theirs (and they know it)!
Either way you slice it...there yours.
lol June - they're my step-grandkids really, but I've been around way longer than they have and blood just doesn't come into it. My eldest tells me I'm like a second Mum to him, which makes me very proud. Being that bit younger than your average grandparent makes it easier for me to interact with them, I think and better able to understand their foibles and dilemmas
