Fabulous cake.... Great sculpting. Smash cake is cute too. In my day, we cut a slice from the original cake and gave to the kids as there "smash" cake. I know it's the rage..seen lots of baby smash pics on FB.....but such a waste. Like the Dominican wedding my daughter was in where they all the bridesmaids & the bride went into the ocean with there dresses on...and the bride brought a "smash/destroy " wedding dress.

Thanks for the explanation, Becky.  I've seen others referred to as "smash" cakes and had no idea what it  meant.  Seems a shame to smash the little one, too, but I guess the baby needs something.

I don't think you have to loose any more sleep over a sculpted cake.  You did a marvelous job!  Love it.

Thank you for the complement on the cake.   I have worried about this cake since it was ordered (over a month ago) as I have not done to many sculpted cakes.  I will finally be able to sleep tonight!!
