THANK YOU RIMA ;X
You can also also airbrush these RI flowers. Sometimes when you need a deep dark color that is best, because the more color you add to the actual icing the more it thins and then you can lose the petal definition. I think you did great. Hope you find your tip! Glad to be of any help or inspiration=)
THANK YOU Anne ; ) i had to try them since i seen Rima's her cake with them on looks so beautiful , i love it , know i cant find my tip? 101s i am hoping i didnt get it in the trash when cleaning , i ordered it just for this , lol , any way waiting for the co to get more in stock to get another one ;))
You have been busy Gail..........lovely colors and beautiful flowers.
thank you Rima ! but i wouldnt have know about it till you showed them and told me what tip to use ! thank you again
my man likes me to play with all this stuff ! so he buys lots for me when he shop's ! he's the shopper not me ,i buy on ebay !
Wow - you have a lot of different types. That's my next goal - to build up my colours stock. Burgundy I guess could be tricky - too much blue and it's mauve, too much brown and, yes, it's brown!
THANKS ! i mix gel colors , i have powders Americolor,--gels spectrum COLORS ,wilton gels ,& paint brush colors-AmeriColors ,, I KNOW HOW TO MIX COLORS WELL , so i do a dash of that and a pinch of this , till i get the colors i want , beleave me i have made some yucky colors to , i cant seen to make a real nice burgandy wine color , they just come to brown for me , even the gels look yucky ??
I have to say Gail, you get some wonderful colours. What colouring do you use? I assume gel - what brand and do you mix up or do you have these colours?
Nice, but I didn't invent toothpick roses, LOL. You're very sweet. That peach ones look good. Sometimes it is just the consistency of the icing itself.
