Toppers for Christening cake
This is to represent the "big sister" on the cake. The dress is what she will be wearing on the Christening Day. Wanted to make her feel like part of this special day. Used Zoe's Fancy Cake tutorial for help with the face which is always a problem for me. This is actually the second face since I didn't like the first one.

Thanks Bonnie. The dress looked just like the one she was wearing. What I didn't realize was that my niece had just cut her daughter's hair to about shoulder length to make it easier in the morning to get her ready for school so she didn't have her usual braid. Oh well, at least I got to do a gumpaste braid.

Thank you Mai. To do the braid, I just took some very thin strands of gumpaste and actually braided it just like you would do to real hair.

Goreti, she is precious! You always say faces are so hard for you, but they always turn out so well. You did a beautiful job on her. I, too, love her hair and little dress.
