Hi Tracey - this was my first and only shoe so far. I got the instructions on-line at Cake Central (http://www.cakecentral.com/article69.html). I customised it for my client by adding a platform of fondant under the toe and extending the heel. The jewels are not edible and are usually used in acrylic fingernail artistry. Hope this helps.
