I carved the turkey from pound cake, iced in buttercream, textured the “skin” and airbrushed with several colors to achieve the golden brown look. The corn is pound cake carved in the shape of corn on the cob, iced with yellow buttercream. I applied Jelly Bellies in various shades of yellow and cream in rows for the kernels. Butter on top of the corn is Laffy Taffy cut into squares. Peas are Gobstoppers candy and carrots are orange Starbursts cut into small squares. “Stuffing” is cake with green licorice “celery”.
