Well in my neighbourhood, right across from us, and stretching for 2 blocks, we have smaller, what I call "starter houses". So people move in, and after awhile, move on to a bigger house. So there seems to be constant change every few years. New families, new children. I am only giving out 9 to the children & parents I know well, just literally doors from me. We will probably have about 60-75 childern. There was a lot of re-sales this past summer, so not sure how many new kids there are.
These are so much fun, June! How many did you make? Are you putting them in bags or boxes?
Last year I did not get 1 single child. There are no children in the neighborhood any more and most go to the city where there is more lighting & more population. I always have candy just in case but usually end up eating it myself.
Thanks Goreti. I love to see the look on the childrens faces when they not only get candy... which I will have put in surgical gloves.... but the cupcakes too :o)
cute
