For the "Dr. Who" fanatics: all hand-made, hand-painted fondant & gumpaste work; cake and cakeboard. They loved it :)

Hahahaha Thanks everyone! I live in the US and my co-worker is a tremendous fan (and she's only 24!) She is to be credited for 'coaching' me, and yes, thank goodness for the Internet :) The cake was for a 14 yr old as he was gathering w/his friends to watch the big 50th Anniversary episode Saturday night, on BBCAmerica channel. Who knew? haha
lol Paige - I have grown up with Dr. Who, but then, I am English, living in the UK. You can't fail to have heard of it in this country, especially as it's the 50th anniversary this year. I don't watch it so much now, but I saw the first episode back in 1963, then remember being fascinated by (and not a little scared of) the Daleks. Considering you had never heard of it, I think your work is even more creditable.
very cool
Thanks for noticing my Dalek, Katy Nott- you must be a true fan :) Didn't know anything about the series until I started doing research for the cake!
Wow - fabulous! Love your Dalek.
