I just might have to make one,they are very pretty!!! I looked up real ones online and there seem to be a couple of varieties. Some looked like a trumpet flower and others looked like they have separate petals..If you also tell me what the cutters you have look like that would help too.

It is the birth flower for my stepdaughter and I am thinking about attempting one to go on her 50th birthday cake this year. I have only just starting trying to do flowers and have a long way to go before I will be happy with them. I have bought a Gladiolus petal cutter, but where to go from there I don't know at the moment. Haven't been able to find any tutorials on this flower! If you have any suggestions, I'd be very grateful.
