I have a tip for the centre. You take the very smallest gerber/dasiy flower cutter. Cut out your shape, cut it into 4, separate. Each section you snip each petal & separate slightly. Then with tweezers, you place around  your centre, slightly overlapping each other. I thought I had a photo of some I made on here, but I don't. Maybe if I have some time between helping with reno's next week, will make some & post.
