That is a very good idea to make a permanent metal template of the sole. Would have to check around here to find a metalsmith. Curious to see how much it would cost. Cardboard wears out & can tear. Not so with metal.

Oh forgot to tell you i mould the sole over the carboard you get inside the toilet roll....or a glass will also do the job

Thanx for all your cmments.I drew a template up for the sole and had a metal cutter made,most of the top designs are free hand;the1st,3rd and 4th are jem cutters.These toppers i make and supply baking shops:)
