Thank you everyone. I have been wanting to see if this would work ever since I made my first "bubbles". I have now crossed them off my bucket list. :-)

art deco cakes, thanks for the tip. I did not know Sam's club carried the gelatin.
yes it also gets messy , i purchased the 16 oz , container ! at sam's club !
4 gelatin packets equal a 1/4 cup add 1/2 cup water (one part gelatin to 2 parts water) to that and you get enough for one coat on two balloons. Some leftover but not enough for another coat.
lol , need lots of gel also ! i know you need 3 coats of the gel ! i do like making them ,
The globes are not as easy to make as the bubbles. I can sit & bubbles all day but this will probably be the last time I make globes. :-/
