Thanks Katy...Yes..In this area are a lot of retirement people,horse farms etc. they come here to also play golf among other things. I don't get asked to do many extreme cake designs, I'm glad they are nice & simple for me.

Betty, nothing is easy for me when I have a piping bag in my hands - lol!  I am not sure I could keep them nice and vertical.

It is really easy. You can go UP or DOWN the sides of the cake, whichever is the easiest for you.

Thanks Sandra...This was one of the easier & quicker cakes that I did on Sat.. i didn't have to worry about getting it smooth. I use the large star tip ( the one you make rosettes with) and just go down the side of cake, like you do stripes & go all around. Kinda looks like pleats.
