I totally agree wit all the comments. The main thing here is to keep on trying, laugh at all the maybe's and try again. If they don't look like the real thing we all just call them fantasy flowers. Don't we? But serious Katy, it looks better than most of mine.

i have the same prob all the time when making flowers , thats why i try to make a few xtra's . and still it happens , you should see all the 1/2 flowers i have , and xtra petals , i fig i can use them some day for fill or butterflys,or  maybe just petals  ???lol  thanks for the blessing ; )))

Bless you both Goreti and Gail.  Goreti, I think you are right, positioning was not right among other things.  I think also the petals are too thick and narrow - I'm afraid of the wire ripping through.  Which is why there are only 5 petals, not 6 as one did exactly that.

Ahh, I think part of the problem may be in the way in positioned them to dry (have done that before) so it is not letting you get the dried petals in the right position.  Don't give up cause this looks really nice even it is was not the look you were going for.
