Buttercream was defo the right choice imo Becky.  We don't do Thanksgiving here in the UK, but y'all have a good one xx

Becky, this is so adorable!  Everything about it is perfect from the floor boards, bail of hay, stick horse and hat...and the little boots made me laugh out loud!  Love it!

Great cake Becky, I'm with Katy, you always come up with some of the most adorable cake ideas. Love the rope effect...you've got it all, Pogo horse, horse shoes,hat, boots..perfect, even the cake board.

Thanks Katy - This is another cake that I stressed over.  I couldn't figure if I should use fondant or buttercream for the hay bale.  I kept changing my mind but finally went with buttercream with the grass tip.  This is the last I have till after Thanksgiving.  I would say it will be a needed rest but I will have a house full of people so don't think there will be much resting involved :(  Hope you have a nice holiday!!.
