I agree, I think I may make a few cakes just for my own pleasure to create something special. That way I can make a true work of art. Plus practice techniques in the process.

I think most of us are the same.  I've never had a cake class of any kind except on-line videos.  Thank goodness so many wonderful people are willing to share.

It is i who am learning the most Sandra. I am just self taught through making them for friends and family.
