yes it works ! !!! cool , but I cant see now so if I cant see what I am painting , ?? wonder what that would look like ! I have my cocoa butter and my black light ! so I will try it , on the cake I need to make my daughter , nx wk !
Sandra, I am fine, or as close as can be. lol
I saw one of the 'Cake Boss' episodes, where they did just that, and when they turned the light off, all the blues, greens, etc..., came to life. So it should work.
oh ! Sandra ! fyi , if you go to cocoa butter , the plain stuff , it glows under black light ! I don't know about the colored cocoa butter !
awesome Sandra , I knew you would love painting on it , do you know it 1 of the most popular mediums in cakes ! so get your brushes ready !
How are you, sweet Bonnie? I have been working my butt off all day on this cake. I have all the carvings on the second tier (shown above) and the 1" separator covered and decorated and, are you listing Gali, I painted the front panel for the next tier. It is the same size as this one, 10". The painting is an ancient Mayan mural. It turned out OK and YES I do love painting on fondant! Just like painting on canvas :o) Then comes the mosaic separator and the top tier is a 6" round....than the birds.
My, oh my! What a wonderful day! They are right on perfect! Will work gorgeously with your stone effect separater. Keep us posted hon!
Great....that is what I am going for :o) Thanks, June!
Thank you so much, Gali and Katy! Your encouragement means an awful lot!
