You know what Les - I think this is flippin' awesome!  It's cartoon style and really cute.  Personally I think you should could him Frog Tyson or Rambofrog.  No way could I have got anywhere near this in only 2 hours, knowing I had to get to work and there was no margin for error.  Gold star mate.

Thanks for the comments June and Goreti but this one wasn't made at class but was ordered by one of my hairdressing clients after seeing the piggy but I only had 2 hours before starting work to get it made, my 1st flowers where on the 2 tier golden wedding cake in my gallery and I just seemed to do them naturally and I was amazed at what I had been able to create, although I have improved over the last couple of years but I do know what you mean I am always my very worst critic even with my flowers I always think after I could have done this flower or that colour a bit better just me being a typical virgo I guess lol.

Oh come on Les.  This is a lot better than I could come up with.  I totally understand where your comfort zone is your beautiful flowers but I'm sure the first ones did not look like your work now.  You can be "perfect" right off the bat.  I think this guy is cute.

Yes

There you go. Were your very 1st flowers a knock out. Probably not.  In only  2 hr class., this is pretty good.

Think how much time you would have spent doing this in your own home/time. A heck of a lot longer than 2 hrs. You would have time to fiddle, change , correct etc. You can only accomplish so much in a 2 hr cake class. Don't beat yourself up... you perfectionist you!!!!   :o)

well I think ill stick to making flowers at least they dont argue with me lol but i guess its not too bad as it was only my 2nd attempt and I only had 2 hours to carve it and decorate it

Oh Les.....

It is not that bad!!!!  I think he is cute & whimsical. Add a bow tie... and he will be jaunty.   :o)
