Sandra, I sat here for quite awhile looking at it from all the different angles and I don't think you added too much.  Everything goes so well together and adds to the feel of the piece.  Yes there is a lot of detail and all of it is beautifully executed.

Thank you, sweet ladies, all!  I must confess...I think I made the age old mistake of adding too much stuff.  In most cases, less IS more and I probably should have left off some of these flowers.  But that is what experience is for, isn't it?!

Thank you, sweet Betty!  I really enjoyed making the flowers for this cake.  I think I am just naturally a little gaudy....I like shiny, too!
