Third tier of Scarlet Macaws Cake. First time to paint on fondant. It is shiny because it is still wet and not as bright as it appears in photo. Will dust lightly with cornstarch when dry to enhance the aged appearance.

Oh, yes, Inoka!  I have been working on this cake for 3 months.  Have you seen the Scarlet Macaws in my pictures?  They are the topper for this cake and a bunch of tropical flowers will be used to decorate the sides, too.  It is my entry in our state fair cake decorating contest.  My first attempt at a competition.
