Awww Shucks....(blushing here!)  You have decided for me to post them, and thanx again for everything.

She is here again.  They told me she was better, BUT, she has had 2 large 'blow outs' this morning already.  Will have to let her mom know soon.  I got her to eat a banana, hope that helps.  Any, and all, other suggestions are welcome!

Well, I do have to confess that I had a little helper, she is 3 11/12ths.(4 next month)lol

You should have seen how very carefully she cracked the egg to go in the cookies.  And she was slow & methodical almost in the way she wielded that toothpick when making the designs on the cookies! lol

I had her yesterday & today, and will probably have her again tomorrow, because she is not feeling very well. the diarrhea started Sunday, and just will not quit.  She will probably visit the doc tomorrow.  She also has a temp that goes up & down for no rhyme, or reason, that I can detect!  She told her daddy that if she did not go to the doctor, she would be sick forever!  poor little thing!

Thanks for the back-up Gail!

And, you may only have been on this site for 4 years, but your cakes tell me that you have always had a love for baking! lol  Just like my grandmother.  And thanks for the recipe!!  I love it!  Quick, easy, & tasty.  So much easier than RI.  Yes, I made it one time, and it was a pain in my ...neck.

My main problem, is that I can never WAIT, on anything, so I don't take the proper care that I should, like not being careful when outlining the glaze.  If I had slowed down, they would have, or at least could have,  at least looked like an oval.  As it was, they have all these odd shapes, none are a real oval to match the cookie's shape!  And I didn't get close enough to the outer edge with the outline.  And I didn't wait for it to set up any, before I piped the glaze in.  And I overfilled my small parchment bags, and so had icing all over my hands.  Wow, this confession is getting a little long in the tooth!  But they do taste pretty good, so that counts for something! lol

Gail, you have got to remember that I am still relatively new to a lot of things, even now, but back then, I think I did a darn good job of covering up my mess!  So even beginners can fix some things! lol

Today I baked some sugar cookies.  Doesn't sound like much, but it is probably about the 3rd time I have baked cookies in the past 50 years.  I did it today to try out YOUR recipe for Cookie Glaze, and it worked perfectly, as far as I am concerned.  They are not neat, precise, & pretty, but I am satisfied with them for a first effort.  Need to learn, with practice, the proper consistency for the glaze, but I will get it in the end.  At least enough to do what I will be doing with it, making family cookies, that are a little different from what we all are used to. lol

I used it on my Wilton class cake, the one with the daisies.  June will remember that.  I rolled it a little too thick, got heavy, & tore.  I covered it up with first the choc. cutout daisies, then the regular ones.  So the back became the front of the cake!   And it WAS delicious!  I have used it several times since then, just because everyone liked it!
