this is so cool , the way you did , . I think you and Katy , have winner cakes !!love them both ! and yes the chains , & the petals on them are wow ! awesome cakes , some day maybe I will get to do 1,,

I chickened out of doing cake for my structure Rhea - just rolled fondant.  As it was only for a few people and a tight budget, I just used cake for the wheels.

Bonnie - a friend recommended me to do this cake and I was actually getting paid for it for a change, so couldn't say no!  I was a bit daunted by the prospect, but once I got my head around how to do it, I really enjoyed it!

Bonniie, its all cake, the wheels were 2 x20cm cakes and I carved a square cake in strips for the poles. I googled the logo's and printed it on icing sheets.

Rhea, is it ALL cake??!   So much work to do a bike!  And all that writing looks so authentic!

Thanks! Katy, this was my third chain and I knew the client would be there in 20 minutes! So I made the chain thicker than the first two and prayed harder! Love your bike's handles and breaks.

great job.  How did you like trying to get that chain round without it falling apart on you?  Drove me nuts trying to do that bit on mine!
