Two more roses I made with my Clay Craft air dry clay. Happy how they both turned out. For the red rose, I used white coated wire dipped in glue & rolled in cornmeal to achieve the stamens. For the candy pink rose, I crushed pink artists chalk and kneaded into the clay to achieve the pink streaks. Then I painted the edges of the rose with pink food colour mixed with alcohol.
Leaving them displayed on my fireplace mantle….as a reminder that spring and summer are hopefully…..soon, around the corner… Thanks for looking…. :o)
