done using template in the Exotic Sugar Flowers for cakes by Alan Dunn--doesn't look exactly like his but I'm still happy with the results--first time I tried, dried the petals in the wrong direction so this was take two

Absolutely amazing. Looks as good as Alan Dunn's, to me. Since he is one of my heroes, I guess I will have to add you to the list :o)

I only have 1 of his books, the others I get from the library when I need it. I don't think they have the wild flowers at the library. I ordered recently "Animation in Sugar" by Carlos lischetti. It just arrived. His figures are awesome. Going to try some of them one of these days. Just have to get motivated which I have a hard time at this time of the year.

I know once we get 1 we don't like we give up for a while , I do the same , than go back to it again , I want to get more of his books , the wild flowers are WILD 4 SURE ! lol
