This is the recipe shared by Gali and Goreti, except I used my own Pineapple Upside Down Cake recipe. I made the version featured in the original recipe, but it was inedible....don't know what went wrong. This is for my neighbor's picnic today. Will let you know how it tastes.

Oh honey (Denise), it is! Goreti shared this recipe. I believe it is posted here in recipes.
It was delicious, Inoka. Since we carried it to a picnic, we only had one piece each, but I will definitely make it again. Goreti posted the recipe and recommended it...a keeper for sure.
Looks yummy Sandra.
Thanks, Luz! It really is a great cheesecake recipe.
Wow Sandra, I want a piece of that cake!! It looks so delicious!!
LOL - Gali, with all those nuts and cherries, it almost looks like your fruit cake, doesn't it.
Goreti, the peach sounds delicious, too. I may give it a try myself. I do LOVE this cheesecake recipe. Probably the best basic cheesecake I've ever made.
Beats me, Katy! Dang sure knocked me off my high horse :o) I was starting to think I could make cakes. Well, it kept me humble anyway - lol.
that does look so divine. Weird about what happened to the first one. Had to be something to do with butter, I would think.
I might try it next time with this on top http://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/upside-down-peach-cake.
