Original attempt at a gum paste magnolia is on the left, the second on the right. I believe the second is a little more realistic.

sandra, the plumeria seems like it would be a good candidate for the five petal cutter. I purchased the book Floral Gems Only Five by Pat Ashby, good stuff, never thought about doing so many flowers with those five petal cutters
And they both smell so good :o)
I remember your gardenia, Gali, and it was beautiful.
the gardenia and magnolia are such a pretty soft bright creamy white I think that's what I love about them !
I have not yet tried a gardenia, but it will be one of the next ones I try. Love them. I've tried a couple of times to make a plumeria, but so far I just have a little bowl, lol. Guess we just have to keep trying.
I love the gardenia also , I don't remember when I posted mine but it was easy once you got the nack of how the petals formed !
me too, the one flower iam having a bit of odds with is the gardenia, its one of my favorites, im working with it now, driving me nuts, gonna post pics when im done.
