done using template in the Exotic Sugar Flowers for cakes by Alan Dunn--doesn't look exactly like his but I'm still happy with the results--first time I tried, dried the petals in the wrong direction so this was take two

Thank you everyone. Gail, I know you love to make flowers. You have got to take a look at the Alan Dunn Books. Try the library. I have 3 at home right now: Sugarcraft Flower Arranging, The wedding cake decorator's bible and Exotic Sugar Flowers which is where I got the template to make these. In each book, there are templates you can use. I love that cause I don't have to have the cutters.
