Buttercream iced three tiered wedding cake with fondant peacock feathers. Tiers were chocolate fudge with peanut butter filling, vanilla cake with strawberry filling and red velvet with vanilla buttercream.

thanks for sharing Marta.  I did mine yesterday and hand cut, then frayed them with a stitching wheel.  Didn't come out too bad............

Katy Mott, they are cut with an Autumn Carpenter fondant feather cutter for the outline, then all the cuts along the edges I hand cut. There is a texture mold thT goes with the cutter, but I like the "featheryness" of all the little cuts. Thanks for the compliment!

beautiful feathers.  Did you cut them freehand or use a mould?  I'm about to do some feathers for a cake and I really like the 'featheriness' of these!
