sweet-heaven and patti, thank you gals for such warm words! unfortunately i don't have this recipe in english and it will take a long time to translate it all from ukrainian :)) but i will try one day! 

 

it is a chocolate cake with nuts, however due to my inexperience at that time the icing was plain white royal :)

I have never seen a cake look like the inside.  It looks delicious...I love chocolate and nuts. Did you cover the cake with chocolate butter cream before the fonadant.
