Birthday cake
This was a surprise cake for one of my brothers. The miniature paintings are my attempt at replicating gigs own paintings. Really happy and so was he with the results.

I am so looking forward to the meeting. You know, your brother should be able to guide you. Explain colouring, shading...etc. You managed those miniatures beautifully...so transitioning on a larger scale shouldn't be too hard for you.

That is awesome June. I wish I had spent time with my brother while he was painting so I could learn. Now his hands are not all that steady so he hasn't painted in awhile.

My next cake club meeting our leader is going to teach us how to paint on a cake...besides being a decorator, her and hubby paint, and teach it too. I'm excited to learn from an experienced artist...

Thank you my friends. Katy, to borrow your words, I am chuffed to bits. I really did not think I could pull off the replicas of his paintings. Never really tried painting anything but now I think I want to try painting on a cake.
