Close-ups are so much more effective!   Love the purple flowers, ha ha , and that skirt!!

Thanks Katy....this didn't start out as a Valentine's cake. I painted most these flowers , and added additions a couple of weeks ago. Then I got sick , and everything went on hold. So since the 14th was so close, and I basically finished the cake up yesterday, I made a quick Valentine heart, and popped it on top....

fun cake June.  Love the painted pansies.  Good quality brushes really do help for this kind of project.  Grandsons bought me some in my box of Christmas baking goodies and I still haven't had the chance to try them out!

You ladies are all making me feel guilty for not making a Valentine cake!
