Anne, personally I think maybe go for the roses in gumpaste.  I have been practising them and seem to have had a progression of success.  There is quite a bit of leeway with the make up of them

hum ! i couldnt say , they all take time ! and it just depends on i guess how many you are willing to spend the day on , remember the drying time is very important , and you see i have some broken ones , oh well just think of them as the petals falling off , lol , thank you again , go ahead and do some more to ,!!!! maybe i can get some ideas from you to , its easyer in gumpaste i think the chocolate is ok , but  the gumpaste is easyer to glue any if you need to

These are beautiful, I have to, have to, have to start, which would be the easiest, I have done some roses with modelling chocolate.

Good idea!  You should see the number of broken flowers I have in my garden (real ones lol), after the terrible winds we have had the last few days.
