Oh yes it can compare....like I told Bonnie....it's just a different technique!
You may have just given me the tip that will make the difference - slap it on and LEAVE IT ALONE. You are right, I always worried it to death. Ha, Ha, next time I try this, it may not be so ugly! THANKS!
LOL , as you can see its not perfect , that's what pallet knife work is , I can see you trying to make it perfect , lol , your paintings are beautiful , it in no way could compare to your paintings , lol its just like slapping a glob on and leaving it alone !like laying bricks !
This is me sticking my tongue out at you, Gali! Mine looks like chickens with paint on their feet ran around on a canvas.
thank you Ladies ! but it is much easier than a brush !lol , just takes a small amount on the knife , if you try to hard to make it look perfect it will look like mud !
Beautiful Gail - just glorious! Don't think I'd get anywhere with a palette knife either Sandra!
This is gorgeous, Gali. Know your way around a pallet knife pretty well :oP
Bonnie, when I tried painting with a pallet knife, it was....scoop up a blob of paint on the knife and smear it on the canvas. Magic is supposed to happen and turn it into art. With mine, however, nothing happened and it turned into mud! I CAN'T do it!
cant wait to see your cake Betty ; )
THANK YOU Betty & Bonnie ! ;xxx, Bonnie its done with a pallet knife !just as if you used a paint brush , but your using a knife to ,, like plaster on the cake ! like oil paint !with out the brush's !
It is gorgeous, but how do you do it????
