Three layer: vanilla-chocolate-vanilla, stacked vertically and doweled. Buttercream under fondant. Fondant/gumpaste embellishments. Oh, and inchworm was the theme! :)

You're welcome, and it's my pleasure.  Can't wait to see your next fabulous cake!

I love CWB!!!   Marney, you and all the other ladies on here are so willing to share your knowledge - I am just amazed by it!  I have learned SO much from everyone and I take the advice to heart.   I definitely would like to take my cakes to the next level so.....the very next one is going on a drum - with a ribbon!   :)  Thanks again!

Awesome.  :)  Just remember to get a glue stick and glue a ribbon around the outside edge...really makes for a polished presentation.  Smearing the too of the drum with a little bit of Crisco then covering it with fondant before you put the cake on the drum REALLY takes it to another level.  You can leave the fondant white, or color it for effect.  Good luck!  Again, you have some amazing natural talent!  :)

Thank you for the compliments Funny you should ask that Marney. I just bought a pack of two cake drums. One for a wedding and will probably use the other for another up coming diaper bag. I agree they look way more professional. Thanks so much for the advice.

Indeed he does!  Your cakes are so professional, have you thought of presenting them on 1/2 " cake drums?  If you don't do a big volume of cakes, you can buy 2 at a time at any local Michael's crafts store.  Wilton makes them in those small volume 2-paks.  Think about presenting your cake on a cake drum, and using a glue stick to affix a color-coordinated ribbon around the edge.  As amazing as they look already, that finishing touch would your presentation over the top!  You're amazingly talented.
