thank you ! but it's not coming out good ; ((, going to try another !
Gail, this shoe is looking lovely, thank you guys for all the comments, haven´t try to do one yet, although I want to, but I won´t buy the kit then. I´ve seen these styrofoam shapes in the store, they look just as the base of some pillars they sell. I can´t wait to see your finished shoe, way to go Gail.
way to go ;) June
Me too Gail..... I am tenacious... will work at it till I acheive what I want. :o)
I do the same thing June ; (( , but I will keep trying till I get them perfect , ;)
Listen guys. I assure, if I can do it - anyone can. I am the clumsiest, most impatient person I know. I stuck mine all together while it was still soft and then just left it supported for about 5 days. I told Mick he had my permission to slap my hand if he saw me going anywhere near it before it was completely dry!
Well I know it was my fault. I was fiddling with it & I should have left well enough alone. My gumpaste wasn't stiff, should have added more tylose to my fondant. Knew the consistency wasn't right. Lessons learned.
YES LET IS DRY FOR AT LEAST 4-5 DAYS
I've seen those kits but for me it makes no sense to order it. June, I think I let mine dry for a number of days before I put on the heel. I want to say I actually waited 5 days (although was hard to control myself).
yes try again , even with this kit,it falls apart !! which is the cake box same iris's shoe's are featured ,
