Yes.... Me too Betty. As you said, made to to on gifts..decorate tables etc. Great alternative to the expense of gumpaste flowers.

Pretty June. I used to make lots of "tissue paper" flowers years ago for party decorations. Now you see them everywhere. Hang them from ceiling or scatter them on the tables. Cheaper and fun to make.

There's now a huge trend in all flowers "paper". Craft, rice/wafer, sugar sheets....etc. See them over & over on all types of cakes, from wedding to simple celebration cakes. Let's face it....much easier skill wise & cheaper to adorn a cake with these than gumpaste/modelling chocolate flowers.

It is so pretty.  I've seen some of the tutorials and even saved a template but have never tried it.
