My grandniece's "Cake Boss" birthday party
My little grandniece's 8th birthday party. She wanted a "Cake Boss" party & since I'm the closest person to a "Cake Boss" that she knows, I was asked to help out. I felt like I was at "career day" or "show & tell"...lol. We went w/a "Frozen" type theme. What little girl doesn't like "Frozen", right? Her mom baked & iced the cakes in advance. She also made each girl a personalized apron & the cake stands shown in the pictures. I had made fondant snowflakes in advance. I also brought fondant, fondant cutters, & decorating bags filled w/icing. I showed them how to make a few very simple decorations w/the fondant & icing. They had a great time & so did I. Their cakes came out really cute. They were very creative & imaginative.

Thanks everyone. It was a lot of fun for all. I guess not too many people have heard of "cake decorating" parties but they're out there. A person could make some fairly decent money doing them if they wanted to. One person I found on the internet charged $35 per guest. There were 8 girls at this party which would have been $280. Of course this was family so there was no charge.
