65th birthday cake for my brother. He has always loved rabbits and had them as pets when we were kids. The tortoise is a reference to an old joke between us that goes back donkeys years to a T-shirt I bought him. He loved it so much he wore it to work the next day (completely inappropriate for an accountant at the Economist), but that is him all over!
Genoese sponge 3 layer filled with lemon and lime marmalade and lemon buttercream. Thin top layer of chocolate cake pop mix for the mud. Hand crafted models from 50/50

thank you Sandra. The design at the bottom was just imprinted with a shell tool. I needed to stretch the fondant a bit to come properly to the edge of the board and necessity is the Mother of Invention!
The design imprinted around the bottom and the flower garden on the sides are beautiful!
