At the risk of boring you all to death with pictures of flowers (this is the last, I promise). Here is the whole set of flowers that Les and I made between us on my visit to his house. He gave me loads to bring home, so I have been experimenting with colours and assembly. Even Daisy (who these days is just 'too cool for school' to deign to compliment anyone on anything) was impressed!

lovly flowers awasome
They are impressive! Lovely flowers
thank you so much Pat xx
That should have said, when you PUT them on a cake.
It must have taken ages to make all these, but when you see the finished items it's worth all the time and effort put into it. They are beautiful and I'm sure you won't get tired of just looking at them. It's even nicer when you out them on a cake. Gorgeous Katy.
Thank you all so much - I feel a little guilty really, knowing that so many of them are Les'!
Bonnie, the colours were just experimenting with the dusts that I had. The dark burgundy and lilac ones were using some flower paste that I had bought at a show ages ago, meaning to do something with and never got around to, so they were past their best and just needed using.
Sue Murphy, thank you. The trick to getting the petals so thin is to use a proper flower paste (Les and I both use Squires, it's lovely stuff). With this you can roll it out really, really, really thin (almost transparent) without it tearing. Then if you use a metal ball tool as well, you can get super thinning and frilling.
These are beautiful Katy,
Looks so pretty!
I just love the variety of colors! Some I never would have thought of! lol
By the way...I, for one, NEVER get too many flowers :o)
