My first attempt and making a gumpaste shoe. All in all, quite happy with the result. The heel is not good, but I know better for next time.

Thank you Luz and Iris.  Isn't it lovely when something goes well, especially when it's your first go.  Actually makes you believe in yourself!

Thank you all so very much for your lovely words.  I was very happy (and amazed haha) at how the shoe came out.  Gail, trust me, if I can do this, so can you.  It was much, much easier than I expected it to be. I used a template that I downloaded from CC (I think that was where I found it).  There wasn't a heel template with it, so I just 'winged ' that.  Again, I learnt a lot from doing it and will do the heel better next time (probably using the handle of a plastic bottle like someone else has recommended).
