My first attempt and making a gumpaste shoe. All in all, quite happy with the result. The heel is not good, but I know better for next time.

What is it you're not getting Gail? Do you realise that you need to have some kind of mold shape to dry your sole over? Take a look at this, see if it helps at all

I used a template for the pair I did and I enlarged it on my pc then made them. I had probs with one of the heels but got there eventually. Oh Katy, this yet another "got to do " list !!
lol I am looking at a tut ! still not getting it ??
Awsome job on your first sugar shoe. keep up the good work
lol - thanks Lisa. It wasn't as hard as I expected it to be. I used a template from another site for the shoe shape, insole, front and heel, then just winged it on the heel!
O M G !! Katy, that is absolutely STUNNING !!!! How did you do that ?? !! What I wouldn't give to be as good !!
Well done hun
yes go for it girls , I keep making stuff also , and I don't have any takers for all the flowers and things I make , but it don't go bad , I may use some , for some1
Yes, Goreti, I do. I think now - what about if I tried something a bit more adventurous? Light years to go before I can do an Iris, but I want to try and prove this one wasn't beginners luck! Like you, I have no reason to do one at the moment, but I may try one anyway in a week or two.
go for it Goreti . both your shoe's are awesome for you first , ; xx you and Katy need to keep shoe-ing ; )
Katy, do you find that now you really want to try another one. I do but I really have nothing to use it on.
