Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

I torted two 6" carrot cakes, to get 4 layers, then stacked, filled, & topped them with a caramel flavored marshmallow buttercream. I was just practicing my piping again, and a small cake is easier to dispose of. lol

Hi Inoka!  The best thing about it is how moist it is, next to the flavor of course! lol  And all the raisons!  I could go on & on, but it is best to just let you try it for yourself.  BC makes a pretty good box mix, if you want to do it the easy way! lol

Hi Sandra!  Thanks!  Carrot cake is always good, hard to mess it up.  And I like the marshmallow buttercream because it is not too sweet.  I am getting more & more into doing these little cakes, just to practice on, and the kids polish them off for me, win-win!

Thanks Betty!  It is one of only two cakes that my hubby likes.  The other is banana bread! 

Looks like I really did not need to put a bottom border on this one.  So I will know better next time.

Looks good Bonnie...carrot cake is also one of my favorites.
