Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

My hubby likes plain on plain! So here he has a golden yellow cake, with vanilla/almond marshmallow buttercream, applied as thin as possible, filled with the same buttercream with sliced strawberries, and topped with 3 of the biggest, juiciest, strawberries I could find. He likes strawberries. I stuck on a few of the variegated leaves that I had already made, for the grands to munch on.
He actually ate '1' piece of this cake, and said it was good. He never eats cake! Only banana bread.

yes it is good ! looks and taste more like whip cream ! ,my family loves buttercream , but ilove the Bettercream , !that's WHAT WE USED WHEN I DID CAKE DECO , I SHOP RITE , MANY MANY  yr's ago ! most places like that use it !, you can get it pre whipped that's what I get ! , you have to go to the side ,of bakery and ask for it ! they keep it in the frig , ! but its none dairy !, there is a place in Scranton PA , I go to get the un-whipped , keeps in the freezer, for 2-3 yr's !

I don't belong to Sam's Club, but maybe I can find someone that does?!  Hope so, because, if it tastes as good, that would be a real bargain!  Thanx Gail!

Hi Gail!  It was rather good...I love this new marshmallow buttercream recipe!  Not real sweet like regular buttercream, but with a real smooth creamy texture, and it seems to hold up a lot better in various kinds of climates.  The only problem is that it does not crust!   But, it doesn't slide off the cake either! lol  At least not so far...
