Question.. She the bear in the middle down the bottom, that's Morgan.... When I was working with the Gumpaste the colour seemed perfect, came back to it this morning and he was darker.... Does all colour go darker as it dries? Or certain brands? I keep making my figures a bit too dark to what they are meant to be. Although I also got the colour wrong, he should be more a tan colour as you can see.

Thanks Penny - ezy crew is posted if your're interested. With your black, try kneading in some crisco/trex whatever it's called where you are. That helps bring the black back and also lightly rub some over the finished shape - makes a big difference.
even when you make red it will seem pink as the fondant ,gumpaste even frosting sits for a few hr's it gets darker , also , in the sun light it will fade !
yes it duz get darker , but they look really good
Penny, what a wonderful job you did with this. Never noticed about color getting darker after it dries. It does get a little darker after it rests a bit but never noticed it after dried. As far as arms, I am doing Tigger right now and he has his arms outstretched and I am having a hard time with them staying on. I have them supported but every time I adjust anything there they go.
You did a terrific job Penny. I'm not sure about your question of gumpaste going darker- I thought it went lighter as it dried....perhaps someone else will know the answer to this one.
